Complete weatherstrip seal kit engineered for 1968 Chevrolet C20 Pickup models with a weatherstrip trim groove, small rear window and black beltlines. This all-in-one kit replaces worn door, window and beltline seals to stop water intrusion, reduce wind noise and restore factory fit and finish. Made from durable, long-lasting materials and designed to match OEM profiles, the kit helps protect interior surfaces, prevent rust and improve cabin comfort while simplifying restoration and maintenance projects.
Features:
- Fitment: 1968 Chevrolet C20 Pickup — models with weatherstrip trim groove, small rear window and black beltlines.
- Complete kit includes seals for doors, small rear window and black beltline channels for a full restoration.
- Premium weather-resistant rubber compounds resist cracking, UV damage and deformation for long service life.
- OEM-style profiles provide accurate alignment and secure sealing to prevent leaks, drafts and road noise.
- Easy-to-install design with pre-formed sections that speed replacement and reduce trimming.
- Restoration-grade part ideal for refurbishing original trucks or replacing aged, compressed seals.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 1-2 hours
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and open doors/windows for access.
- Remove old weatherstrip and any trim pieces that obstruct the seal channels using a trim tool or screwdriver. Take care not to bend or damage metal trim.
- Clean sealing surfaces and channels thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or degreaser. Remove old adhesive, dirt and corrosion so new seal sits flush.
- Dry-fit each new seal piece into its intended location to confirm fit and identify any trimming points.
- Apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel or the seal flange as recommended by the adhesive manufacturer.
- Starting at one end, press the new weatherstrip into the channel, aligning the profile with the trim groove and working slowly to avoid wrinkles or gaps. Use masking tape to hold sections in place if needed.
- Trim any excess material with a utility knife for a clean, flush finish. Reinstall any removed trim pieces.
- Allow adhesive to cure per manufacturer instructions (typically 30 minutes to several hours) before closing doors or exposing to moisture.
