Power rack and pinion steering system for straight axle 1947-55 Chevy and GMC trucks with small block engines. This kit is specifically designed for a direct bolt-in with no chassis modification necessary. It completely eliminates the stock steering box, providing increased clearance for exhaust systems. The rack & pinion features specially designed steering arms to correct the Ackermann effect and bump steer that plagued these trucks. Will work with most stock and aftermarket steering columns and any height leaf spring. This system provides the absolute best steering possible with a straight axle. Hoses and pump sold separately.
