This neutral safety and backup lamp switch is an OEM-style replacement designed for 1967–1972 Chevrolet and GMC C/K Pickup, Blazer, Jimmy, and Suburban models equipped with Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission without floor console, including C/10 truck applications. It also fits select 1965–1967 Chevrolet passenger car models with Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission without console. Manufactured to factory specifications, this switch supports proper starter circuit interruption in Park and Neutral positions and activates the backup lamps when Reverse is selected. Designed for restoration and service replacement, it maintains correct safety and reverse light function in original column-shift Turbo Hydramatic applications.

Each time a prototype body panel comes off of a new tooling, we test fit it on a car. The marked up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times but, once the part is finally approved, you can be assured of a quality part.
