This throttle cable is an OEM-style replacement designed for multiple 1975–1981 GM applications, including 1977 Pontiac Firebird models equipped with an Oldsmobile V8, 1975–1976 Chevrolet Impala and Caprice models with 4-barrel V8 engines (B-Body), and 1975–1978 Chevrolet and GMC C/K Pickup, Blazer, Jimmy, and Suburban models. Applications include trucks equipped with the 250 inline 6-cylinder as well as 1975–1977 305, 350, 400, and 454 V8 engines, and 1978–1981 305 2-barrel V8 engines. Manufactured for factory-correct fit and function, this exact-fit reproduction restores proper throttle response and linkage operation for classic restoration projects. Designed as a direct bolt-on replacement, it connects the accelerator pedal to the carburetor to ensure smooth and reliable throttle actuation in GM A-Body passenger cars and C/K truck platforms, including C/10 models where applicable.

Each time a prototype body panel comes off of a new tooling, we test fit it on a car. The marked up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times but, once the part is finally approved, you can be assured of a quality part.
