The Precision Quarter Window Weatherstrip Seal (WCR DQ5121) is a direct-fit left or right quarter window seal with an integrated trim groove engineered to accept the lockstrip. It provides a secure, watertight barrier that prevents water intrusion, reduces wind noise and vibration, and properly aligns and secures the quarter-window trim. Molded from durable, weather-resistant EPDM rubber, this seal maintains flexibility in extreme temperatures and resists cracking, shrinking, and UV degradation — ideal for restoration or routine replacement to restore factory fit and function.

Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and lower the quarter window (if applicable) to access the seal.
- Carefully remove interior trim pieces or channels necessary to access the existing seal using a trim tool to avoid damage.
- Pull out the old weatherstrip by hand; use a protected flathead screwdriver to lift stubborn sections. Remove any remaining lockstrip if damaged.
- Clean the sealing surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and a clean rag to remove old adhesive, dirt, and grease. Allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new weatherstrip to ensure correct orientation (left vs. right) and that the trim groove aligns with the lockstrip location.
- If recommended or desired, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the sealing flange according to adhesive instructions. Avoid excess adhesive which can squeeze out.
- Press the new seal into place, ensuring the trim groove fully engages the lockstrip and the profile seats evenly along the window channel. Use masking tape temporarily to hold sections if needed.
- Reinstall any trim pieces or channels removed earlier. Close and cycle the window to verify smooth operation and proper sealing. Allow adhesive to cure per manufacturer directions before driving if adhesive was used.
