A direct-fit right-hand rear corner window glass in tempered green, engineered to restore visibility, weather sealing, and appearance. This replacement glass is cut to match original dimensions and finished with a green tint for reduced glare and UV filtering. Ideal for restoration or maintenance projects, it provides a durable, shatter-resistant solution that fits into existing seals or bonding channels—confirm part number and vehicle fitment before purchase.
Features:
- Tempered green rear corner glass — right-hand orientation (passenger side).
- Tempered safety glass resists impact and breaks into blunt granules for safer failure.
- Green tint reduces glare and filters sunlight while maintaining clear visibility.
- Precision-cut to OEM dimensions for a clean fit into existing seals or adhesive channels.
- Ideal for vehicle restoration or replacement of cracked, chipped, or missing corner glass.
- Easy installation when using the correct seal or urethane bonding materials; restores weather sealing and reduces wind noise.
- Durable, scratch-resistant finish helps maintain appearance over time.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 3/5
- Estimated time: 45–90 minutes (per side, depending on prep and cure time)
Instructions:
- Park the vehicle on a level surface and work in a well-lit, dry area; wear protective gloves and safety glasses.
- Remove interior trim pieces and any fasteners that block access to the rear corner glass using trim tools and screwdrivers; carefully set hardware aside.
- Cut or pull out the old sealant/seal and remove the old glass. Use a utility knife and pry tools as needed; take care to avoid damaging the surrounding body or trim.
- Thoroughly clean the glass channel and mating surfaces of old adhesive, dirt, and rust. Wipe with rubbing alcohol and a clean cloth; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new tempered corner glass into the channel to verify orientation and fit. Adjust alignment before applying any adhesive.
- If using a pre-formed rubber seal, seat the seal into the channel first and then press the glass into place. If bonding with urethane, apply a continuous bead of primer (if required) and adhesive to the channel following the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions.
- Carefully place the glass into the seal or adhesive bead, aligning it evenly. Press the glass into position and use painter’s tape or clamps as needed to hold it securely while adhesive begins to set.
- Clean excess sealant immediately with appropriate solvent per adhesive instructions. Reinstall interior trim and fasteners after the adhesive has set sufficiently.
- Allow full cure time for urethane or sealant per manufacturer recommendations before driving or exposing to heavy weather (typically 24 hours).
- Check for water tightness after cure by gently spraying the area and inspecting for leaks; readjust or re-seal if necessary.
