This throttle cable is designed for 1983–1986 Chevrolet and GMC C/K Pickup, Blazer, Jimmy, and Suburban models, as well as 1987–1989 R/V series trucks, equipped with 305, 350, or 454 4-barrel V8 engines. Applicable to late Squarebody C/K and R/V platform trucks, including C/10 and R10 models where equipped, this OEM-style replacement supports proper accelerator-to-carburetor linkage operation. Manufactured to factory specifications for cable length and end configuration, it helps maintain smooth throttle response and consistent pedal function in carbureted 4-bbl V8 applications. Engineered for proper fitment on 1983–1989 Chevy and GMC truck platforms, this cable is suited for restoration and service replacement use.

Our panels are made from proper gauge steel and include all correct-as-original clips, tabs, flanges, bends and seams. Each time a prototype body panel comes off of a new tooling, we test fit it on a car. The marked up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times but, once the part is finally approved, you can be assured of a quality part.
