Instructions:
- Confirm part number DT01092 CLN matches vehicle fitment and inspect the replacement glass for damage.
- Park vehicle on a level surface and remove rear trim, moldings, and interior panels as needed to access the glass perimeter.
- Carefully remove any remaining old glass and scrape away old adhesive from the pinch weld using a razor blade or scraper; clean surface with solvent.
- Apply urethane primer to the metal pinch weld and glass edge per adhesive manufacturer instructions; allow primer to flash/dry as specified.
- Load urethane adhesive into the caulking gun and apply a continuous, even bead around the pinch weld where the glass will seat.
- With two suction cups, align the replacement glass and carefully set it into the adhesive bead, ensuring correct positioning and even contact around the perimeter.
- Press the glass into the adhesive and secure temporarily with masking tape or supports to maintain position while adhesive begins to set.
- Reinstall moldings and trim as applicable; avoid disturbing the glass and adhesive during initial set.
- Allow the adhesive to cure per manufacturer recommendations (commonly 24 hours) before driving the vehicle or exposing to high loads.
- After cure, remove temporary supports, recheck trim fit, and clean the glass.
