Instructions:
- Confirm part fitment against vehicle make/model and clean work area; park on level ground.
- Remove interior trim and any molding around the rear window; label fasteners and clips for reinstallation.
- Carefully cut and remove the old urethane bead and lift out the damaged glass using suction cups. Dispose of broken glass safely.
- Clean the pinch-weld and surrounding flange thoroughly, removing all old adhesive, dirt, and sealant. Wipe with recommended cleaner and allow to dry.
- Apply primer to the pinch-weld and the mating surface of the new glass where required by the adhesive manufacturer. Allow recommended flash time.
- Load urethane adhesive into a caulking gun and apply a continuous, even bead to the pinch-weld per the adhesive kit instructions.
- Using suction cup lifters, set the new rear glass into position, aligning it carefully with the body. Press the glass into the urethane bead to ensure full contact and an even seal.
- Tack the glass in place with masking tape or clamps as needed, ensuring no movement during curing.
- Allow adhesive to cure for the time recommended by the adhesive manufacturer before driving (refer to temperature-dependent cure times).
- Reinstall interior trim and moldings, checking for proper fit and sealing. Inspect the perimeter for gaps and clean any excess adhesive.
