Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface, turn ignition off, and remove the key.
- If applicable, remove the rain sensor/module from its windshield mount per vehicle service instructions (use screwdriver or pry tool as needed).
- Carefully peel and remove the old pad or adhesive from the sensor housing and the windshield. Use a plastic pry tool to avoid scratching the glass or sensor.
- Clean the windshield and sensor mounting face thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth. Allow surfaces to dry completely.
- Test-fit the new pad to confirm orientation and alignment with the sensor and mounting area. Use masking tape to mark alignment points if helpful.
- Peel the protective backing from the adhesive side of the new pad, align it to the sensor or windshield mounting location, and press firmly for 30–60 seconds to ensure full contact.
- Reinstall the sensor/module onto the windshield mount and secure any fasteners removed earlier.
- Start the vehicle and verify rain-sensing wiper operation by using a light mist of water on the windshield or activating the system per vehicle instructions.
- Avoid washing the vehicle or heavy exposure to rain for at least 1 hour to allow adhesive to set fully; for best results, wait 24 hours before high-pressure water exposure.
