Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a flat surface, switch ignition off, and disconnect the negative battery terminal if required by the vehicle manual.
- Remove any interior trim or sensor housing covers to access the rain sensor assembly according to your vehicle's service procedure.
- Carefully disconnect the sensor electrical connector and unbolt or unclip the sensor module if necessary.
- Remove the old pad and any residual adhesive from the windshield using a razor blade or plastic scraper, taking care not to scratch the glass.
- Thoroughly clean the glass surface with isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth; allow it to dry completely.
- Dry-fit the new pad to confirm alignment. Use masking tape or the sensor housing as an alignment guide if available.
- Peel the adhesive backing from the replacement pad and firmly press the pad onto the windshield in the correct position. Hold steady and apply even pressure for 30–60 seconds.
- Reinstall the sensor module, reconnect the electrical connector, and replace any trim pieces or covers.
- Start the vehicle and test the rain-sensing function (consult vehicle manual for test procedure). Avoid heavy wiper use or car washes for 24 hours to allow full adhesive cure.
