Instructions:
- Park on level ground, set the parking brake, and open the hood to access the cowl area.
- Carefully remove any trim or covers that obstruct the clip locations using a trim tool or flathead screwdriver to avoid damaging surrounding panels.
- If old clips remain, pry them out gently with a trim tool or use needle-nose pliers to pull them free. Clean the mounting holes and surrounding area with a cloth to remove dirt and debris.
- Align the cowl panel or trim piece with the mounting holes. Position a replacement clip over each hole, ensuring the clip’s stem is straight and seated properly.
- Press each clip firmly until you hear or feel it snap into place. For tight fits, use steady, even pressure to avoid bending the clip.
- Reinstall any trim or covers removed earlier and close the hood. Inspect the cowl panel for proper fitment and check for any remaining movement or gaps.
