This temperature gauge is an OEM-style replacement designed for 1979 First Design Chevrolet and GMC C/K Pickup, Blazer, Jimmy, and Suburban models equipped with factory gauge instrument clusters on the Squarebody platform, including C/10 applications where equipped. Featuring the red-orange pointer used in First Design 1979 clusters, this gauge installs in trucks configured with gauges rather than warning lights and restores proper engine coolant temperature indication within the original dash assembly. Manufactured to factory specifications for appearance and function, it is intended for restoration and service replacement to maintain accurate temperature monitoring and factory-style interior detail in 1979 Chevy and GMC truck applications.

Each time a prototype body panel comes off of a new tooling, we test fit it on a car. The marked up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times but, once the part is finally approved, you can be assured of a quality part.
