Universal replacement headlight switch and knob designed for fitment on a variety of GM models with 6 volt system. Each switch includes the shaft and knob. Switch mounts in a 3/8" diameter hole. This switch is perfect for a hot rod, rat rod or custom. Can be used for just about any vehicle that needs a more modern headlamp switch. The shaft is not removable from this switch, but the knob can be removed using a 1/16" Allen wrench. If you wish to use your original headlight knob instead of the knob that comes with this switch, it must have 8-32 internal threads (or will need to be modified) to work with this switch. This switch does NOT control the interior lights.
