This speedometer driven gear is identified by tooth count and color specifically for 1959-60 Chevrolet Impala, Bel Air, Biscayne models with automatic transmissions, and 1960 Chevrolet, GMC trucks with 3/speed manual transmissions without overdrive. They can be used to calibrate the speedometer when changing axle ratios, tire sizes or as a replacement for a worn gear.
