Reproduction stamped steel center reinforcement strip, or center cross sill for 1960-72 Chevrolet and GMC stepside pickup, and 1969-72 Chevrolet and GMC Fleetside Longhorn pickup models. This brace is located below the bed floor in front of the wheelhouse, and ties the floor and the sides of the bed together. Bolted between the bed sides, it provides the mounting holes for the bed wood and strips. This particular brace bolts into place in position 3 on a 1967 or later stepside truck and toward the rear of the inner fender wells on the fleetside model. Approximate length 49-1/2".
