Reproduction of the original style fuel tank designed for use with various 1967-72 Chevrolet and GMC 1/2 ton pickup truck models equipped with EEC (evaporative emissions controls) system. This fuel tank is manufactured in quality stamped steel featuring a zinc-coating. Fuel tank features a 20 gallon (75 liters) capacity. Includes the fuel sender lock ring, o-ring gasket, and attached filler neck for installation. This tank mounts inside the cab, vertically against the rear cab wall.
The EEC system is a method of controlling HC emissions by collecting fuel vapours from the fuel tank and carburetor fuel bowl vents, and directing them into an engine intake manifold.
