Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on a level surface and set parking brake; if desired, disconnect the battery for safety when working near electrical components.
  2. Carefully pry away surrounding trim using a flat plastic trim tool to expose vent mounting points; avoid metal tools that can scratch surfaces.
  3. Locate and remove any screws or fasteners securing the existing vent assembly using the appropriate screwdriver or Torx driver.
  4. Gently pull the old vent assembly free, disengaging any retaining clips; note duct alignment and tab locations for proper reinstallation.
  5. Clean the mounting opening and duct flange with a clean cloth to remove dust and debris.
  6. Position the new CVA 1110 81 LH GTN vent assembly into the opening, aligning tabs and duct connection; press inward until clips engage and the vent seats flush.
  7. Reinstall any screws or fasteners removed earlier and tighten snugly—do not overtighten plastic fasteners.
  8. Reinstall trim panels, ensuring they snap into place without gaps. Reconnect the battery if it was disconnected.
  9. Test the vent by operating the climate controls to verify airflow direction, control operation, and that there are no rattles or air leaks.
