Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and open all doors and windows for access.
- Remove old weatherstrip: carefully peel away old rubber and remove any retained clips or adhesives using trim tools and a scraper as needed.
- Thoroughly clean mating surfaces with a mild solvent (isopropyl alcohol) and allow to dry; remove any rust or debris before installing new seals.
- Dry-fit each new weatherstrip piece to ensure correct orientation and trimming points; refer to kit layout to identify door, vent and window pieces.
- Apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel or flange as recommended by the adhesive manufacturer.
- Press the new seal into place along the channel or groove, working from one end to the other; use a rubber roller or block to seat the seal evenly without stretching.
- Trim any excess material with a razor knife for a neat finish and reinstall any trim or retaining clips removed earlier.
- Close doors and windows to check alignment and seal compression; make small adjustments as needed while adhesive cures.
- Allow adhesive to cure fully per adhesive instructions (typically several hours) before driving; recheck fasteners and seals after initial use.
