Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface, engage parking brake, and wear safety glasses and gloves.
- Carefully remove the cowl or trim panel using a trim removal tool or flat-blade screwdriver to expose the fastener locations.
- Inspect old clips and mounting holes; remove any broken clip pieces and clean mounting surfaces with a shop rag and solvent. Allow to dry.
- Position the panel in place and align the mounting holes with the body holes.
- Install each new fastener by aligning its stem with the mounting hole and pressing firmly until the clip snaps into place. Use panel clip pliers if needed for a secure seat.
- Verify all clips are fully engaged and the panel sits flush. Reinstall any trim or hardware removed earlier.
- Close hood and check for proper fitment, reduced vibration, and absence of wind noise. Re-check clip tightness after a short test drive.
