Precision Roof Rail Weatherstrip Seal, Left Hand RWL 1110 69 is a direct-fit roof rail weatherstrip designed for 1969 left-hand roof rail channels. Its main purpose is to seal the roof rail to prevent water intrusion, reduce wind noise, and keep out dust and road debris — protecting the headliner and interior trim. Molded from weather-resistant EPDM rubber with a reinforced spine for shape retention, the seal delivers durable, long-lasting performance in restoration and replacement projects. Verify OEM part number RWL 1110 69 for exact vehicle fitment before installation.
Features:
  • Fits 1969 left-hand roof rail channels — verify RWL 1110 69 for exact fitment.
  • Constructed from durable EPDM rubber with a reinforced backbone for shape retention.
  • Seals roof rail to prevent water leaks, reduce wind noise, and block dust.
  • Direct replacement for worn or damaged original weatherstrip in restorations.
  • Simple installation with basic hand tools; trims to fit and secures in factory channel.
  • Resistant to UV, ozone and temperature extremes for long-term reliability.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 45-60 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Flat-head screwdriver or plastic trim removal tool
  • Needle-nose pliers or panel-clip pliers
  • Rubbing alcohol or isopropyl cleaner and clean cloths
  • Weatherstrip adhesive (if required)
  • Scissors or utility knife
  • Masking tape or spring clamps
  • Gloves
Instructions:
  1. Remove the old weatherstrip: carefully pry out any retaining clips and pull the old seal free from the roof rail channel.
  2. Clean the channel thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or isopropyl cleaner to remove old adhesive, dirt and grease; allow to dry.
  3. Dry-fit the new seal along the channel to confirm fit and determine if any trimming is required; mark trim points if needed.
  4. If adhesive is recommended, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive in the channel following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Starting at one end, press the new weatherstrip into the channel, engaging the reinforced spine and ensuring the seal seats evenly along the rail.
  6. Use masking tape or spring clamps to hold the seal in place while adhesive sets (if used). Remove excess adhesive promptly with a clean cloth.
  7. Trim any excess material with scissors or a utility knife for a clean finish, then inspect the seal for full contact and gaps.
  8. Allow adhesive to cure per product instructions, then test by pouring a small amount of water on the roof (or performing a road/noise test) to confirm a watertight, quiet seal.
