The Precision Trunk Weatherstrip Seal TS 107 SA is a replacement trunk seal engineered to restore a watertight, dust-free, and vibration-dampened trunk area. Made from resilient EPDM rubber with an integrated retention profile, it seals gaps around the trunk lid to prevent leaks, reduce road noise, and protect trunk interior and cargo from moisture and corrosion. Ideal for restoration and routine maintenance, the TS 107 SA delivers long-lasting performance and straightforward installation.
Features:
- Durable EPDM rubber construction for weather, ozone and temperature resistance
- Designed to prevent trunk leaks, reduce noise and keep out dust and debris
- Integrated retention profile for secure fit and consistent sealing pressure
- Restoration-grade replacement for aged, cracked or flattened factory seals
- Simple trim-and-fit application — can be adhesive-backed or clip-in depending on vehicle
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Open the trunk and remove the old weatherstrip: disengage clips or peel away adhesive and carefully pry out any retained metal clips.
- Clean the mounting flange thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or adhesive cleaner to remove old adhesive, dirt and grease. Allow to dry completely.
- Dry-fit the new TS 107 SA seal along the trunk opening to confirm orientation and length. Trim excess with scissors or a utility knife if needed.
- If the seal is adhesive-backed, peel a short section of the backing and press the seal firmly into the mounting flange. If clips or retainers are used, align them with the factory holes and press the seal into place.
- For additional hold where specified, apply a continuous bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the mounting flange (follow adhesive maker’s instructions), then press the seal into place and secure temporarily with masking tape.
- Close the trunk gently to check alignment and sealing compression. Reopen and make any minor adjustments.
- Allow adhesive to cure per the adhesive manufacturer’s recommendations before subjecting the trunk to heavy use or moisture exposure.
