Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and power off the camera system or vehicle ignition.
- Remove any trim pieces or mirror assembly obstructing access to the existing mount using a trim tool.
- If replacing an existing mount, remove mounting screws or gently separate adhesive-backed mount from the windshield.
- Clean the windshield mounting area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry completely.
- Dry-fit the new mount to confirm alignment and camera sightline before final attachment.
- If using screws, secure the mount with supplied fasteners and torque per the camera manufacturer's specification; if using adhesive, apply adhesive promoter (if provided) and press the mount firmly into place.
- Route and secure the camera cable along the headliner and A-pillar using clips or tape to prevent strain.
- Reinstall any removed trim or mirror assembly, power on the camera system, and verify camera alignment and image stability.
- Allow adhesive bonds to cure for the recommended time (typically 24 hours) before subjecting the mount to heavy vibration or load.
