Constructed for durability and dependable performance, it replaces worn or damaged OE components to eliminate looseness, uneven tire wear, and steering wander. Built with a hardened ball stud and protective dust boot, this part delivers long service life and straightforward installation for routine suspension and steering maintenance.

Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, engage parking brake, and loosen the front wheel lug nuts slightly.
- Raise the front of the vehicle with a floor jack and support securely on jack stands. Remove the front wheel.
- Locate the outer tie rod end at the steering knuckle. Apply penetrating oil to the castle nut and threads if corroded.
- Mark the position of the tie rod end on the inner tie rod or count the exposed threads to preserve approximate alignment for reassembly.
- Remove the cotter pin (if present) and loosen and remove the tie rod end castle nut or nut securing the stud to the steering knuckle.
- Use a tie rod end puller or pickle fork to separate the tie rod end stud from the steering knuckle. A sharp tap with a hammer may be needed to free the stud.
- Loosen the jam nut on the inner tie rod and unthread the outer tie rod end, using your reference marks or thread count to maintain toe setting.
- Thread the new outer tie rod end onto the inner tie rod to the previously noted position. Tighten the jam nut against the new tie rod end per vehicle specifications.
- Insert the new stud into the steering knuckle, install and torque the nut to factory specification, and secure with a new cotter pin if required.
- Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, torque the lug nuts to specification, and road test. Have a professional wheel alignment performed to ensure exact toe settings and optimal tire wear.
