Front sway bar link (right/left) designed to fit 1999–2019 Ford vehicles with rear-wheel drive. This replacement link secures the anti-roll (sway) bar to the suspension, maintaining proper stabilizer geometry to reduce body roll, improve cornering stability, and preserve steering responsiveness. Built for durability and consistent performance, the link uses corrosion-resistant components and reinforced bushings to withstand road conditions and restore original handling characteristics. Easy to install as an OE-style replacement, it’s an ideal part for routine maintenance, suspension repairs, or full restoration projects.
Features:
- Fits 1999–2019 Ford vehicles with rear-wheel drive (RWD) — front, right or left hand application.
- Constructed from corrosion-resistant metal for long-lasting strength and reliability.
- Reinforced bushings reduce noise and vibration while maintaining proper sway bar alignment.
- Restores factory handling and stability by securely fastening the sway bar to the suspension.
- Direct-fit OE-style replacement simplifies repair and reduces installation time.
- Ideal for suspension maintenance, accident repair, or vehicle restoration applications.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park on level ground, engage parking brake and chock rear wheels.
- Loosen front wheel lug nuts slightly, then raise the front of the vehicle with a floor jack and support securely on jack stands. Remove the front wheel for access.
- Locate the front sway bar link connecting the sway bar to the control arm or strut assembly.
- Spray mounting nuts and studs with penetrating oil if corroded. Remove the nuts securing the sway bar link to the sway bar and control arm/strut. Hold the stud with a wrench if needed to prevent spinning.
- Remove the old sway bar link. Compare new part to old to confirm orientation and correct hand (right/left).
- Install the new sway bar link into position, aligning studs through sway bar and control arm/strut mounting holes.
- Thread nuts onto studs and snug by hand. Torque fasteners to the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications using a torque wrench.
- Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, then torque wheel lug nuts to spec. Test drive at low speed to confirm proper handling and quiet operation.
