- 14 mm threaded connection at the tie rod end for secure, OEM-style fitment and alignment.
- Durable steel construction with corrosion-resistant coating for extended service life in road conditions.
- Helps reduce steering play, vibration, and tire wear — ideal for steering system maintenance or restoration.

Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes per side
Instructions:
- Park the vehicle on a level surface, engage parking brake and place wheel chocks behind the rear wheels.
- Loosen the front wheel lug nuts slightly, jack up the vehicle and support it securely on jack stands.
- Remove the front wheel to access the tie rod assembly.
- Locate the inner tie rod and mark the position of the outer tie rod on the threaded portion to preserve alignment.
- Loosen and remove the outer tie rod lock nut and separate the outer tie rod from the steering knuckle using a tie rod puller or pickle fork.
- If applicable, remove any steering rack boot clamps and slide the boot back to expose the inner tie rod-to-rack connection.
- Use the appropriate wrench or inner tie rod tool to unthread and remove the old inner tie rod from the steering rack.
- Inspect the steering rack seal, boot and surrounding components; replace any damaged parts before installing the new unit.
- Thread the new inner tie rod onto the steering rack to the specified engagement depth and torque per vehicle specification.
- Reposition and secure the rack boot with new clamps if removed, then thread the outer tie rod onto the new inner tie rod to the previously marked position.
- Tighten the outer tie rod lock nut to the specified torque and reattach any cotter pins if applicable.
- Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, torque lug nuts to factory spec, and check steering operation.
- Have a professional wheel alignment performed to ensure proper toe settings and prevent premature tire wear.
