Front outer right-hand tie rod end designed for 2019–2024 Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC trucks and SUVs. This essential steering component connects the steering rack to the steering knuckle, translating steering input into wheel movement while maintaining alignment and vehicle control. Built to withstand road shock and everyday wear, it restores precise steering feel, reduces play, and helps prevent uneven tire wear. Ideal for repair, maintenance, or restoration projects where reliable, durable steering performance is required.
Features:
- Fits 2019-2024 Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC models — front outer, right-hand (passenger side).
- Forged steel stud and housing for strength and long service life.
- High-quality ball joint and grease sealing to reduce play and resist contamination.
- Direct-fit replacement for OE dimensions — restores steering precision and alignment.
- Easy-to-install design with standard taper and stud; helps prevent premature tire wear.
- Suitable for routine maintenance, collision repair, or full suspension refreshes.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, engage parking brake, and loosen wheel lug nuts slightly.
- Raise the vehicle and support securely on jack stands; remove the wheel.
- Locate the outer tie rod end on the passenger side steering knuckle and apply penetrating oil to nuts and threads as needed.
- Remove the cotter pin (if present) and loosen the castellated nut securing the tie rod end to the knuckle.
- Use a tie rod puller or pickle fork to separate the tie rod end stud from the steering knuckle; avoid pounding on the knuckle.
- Mark or measure the length/turns of the tie rod end on the inner tie rod to maintain approximate alignment, then loosen the lock nut and unthread the outer tie rod end.
- Thread the new outer right-hand tie rod end onto the inner tie rod to the measured position, then tighten the lock nut against it.
- Insert the tie rod stud into the steering knuckle, install and torque the castellated nut to manufacturer specification, and install a new cotter pin if required.
- Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, and torque lug nuts to specification.
- Have a professional wheel alignment performed immediately after installation to ensure proper steering geometry and prevent uneven tire wear.
