Complete weatherstrip seal kit designed for 1967 models without a weatherstrip trim groove that feature a small rear window and black beltlines (CWK 1116 67 PDS). This kit provides the primary sealing components to secure and protect the rear window area, preventing water intrusion, wind noise, and vibration while restoring the vehicle’s original weather-tight fit. Made from durable, weather-resistant rubber compounds, the seals offer long-term reliability, UV and ozone resistance, and straightforward installation to help complete restorations or replace aged, cracked seals.
Features:
- Fits 1967 models without weatherstrip trim groove with small rear window and black beltlines (CWK 1116 67 PDS).
- Complete kit includes all rear window and beltline weatherstrips required for the specified small-window configuration.
- Made from durable EPDM-style rubber for UV, ozone, and weather resistance.
- Seals against water intrusion, reduces wind noise and vibration, and helps prevent interior damage.
- Designed for restoration and replacement—restores original appearance and fitment.
- Pre-formed profiles and factory-style contours for accurate alignment and easy installation.
- No trim-groove required—engineered for models that lack a dedicated weatherstrip trim channel.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 60-120 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and work in a clean, dry area; remove the old weatherstrip seals.
- Carefully peel away old seals and scrape residual adhesive with a plastic scraper; use adhesive remover as needed.
- Clean the flange and surrounding surfaces thoroughly with solvent to remove oils and dirt; allow to dry completely.
- Test-fit each new weatherstrip piece to confirm correct location and orientation before applying adhesive.
- Apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the flange or the back of the seal per the adhesive manufacturer’s directions.
- Position the seal against the flange, starting at one end and working across; press firmly and use a small roller or trim tool to seat the seal and remove air gaps.
- Trim any excess material with a utility knife for a neat finish; use masking tape to hold joints in place if needed while adhesive cures.
- Allow adhesive to cure per product instructions (typically 1–24 hours) before exposing the area to water or driving at high speed.
- Inspect the seal for uniform contact and test for leaks by gently spraying water; re-seat or add adhesive to any areas that show gaps.
