A precision-engineered inner beltline molding designed for left- or right-hand installation that secures and finishes the door/window beltline. This molding protects the edge of the door aperture from moisture and road debris, aligns trim for a factory appearance, and helps reduce wind noise and vibration. Constructed from durable, corrosion-resistant material with a factory-style finish, it delivers reliable fitment and long-lasting performance while making restoration or replacement straightforward and professional-looking.
Features:
- Inner left or right hand beltline molding for direct trim restoration or replacement
- Durable, corrosion-resistant construction with a factory-style finish
- Secures beltline trim, helps prevent water intrusion and reduces wind noise
- Designed to align and retain adjacent trim for a factory appearance
- Simple installation for most users — clips or adhesive ensure a secure fit
- Ideal for restoration projects or repairing worn, damaged, or missing molding
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and roll window fully down for access if applicable.
- Carefully remove the old molding by prying off trim clips or removing fasteners using the trim tool and screwdrivers; retain any reusable clips if undamaged.
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with rubbing alcohol to remove dirt, adhesive residue, and wax; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new molding along the beltline to confirm orientation (inner left vs. right) and alignment with mounting holes or clip locations.
- If using clips, insert clips into the molding or vehicle flange as required. If using adhesive, apply a continuous bead of weatherproof automotive adhesive to the mounting surface per adhesive manufacturer instructions.
- Position the molding carefully and press firmly along its length to engage clips or bond to the adhesive. Use masking tape to hold the molding in place if needed.
- Reinstall any fasteners or trim pieces removed earlier. Wipe away any excess adhesive immediately with a suitable solvent.
- Allow adhesive to cure per product directions (if used) before exposing the area to water or heavy use. Inspect the installation for secure fit and finish.
