A 4-piece left and right beltline molding kit engineered to restore the trim, seal, and finish along the vehicle’s beltline. These precision-formed moldings replace worn, cracked, or missing trim to prevent water intrusion, reduce wind noise, and return the vehicle’s exterior to factory appearance. Designed as a direct-fit replacement for compatible vehicles (verify year/make/model fitment before purchase), the kit provides durable, corrosion-resistant performance and consistent alignment for a secure, long-lasting installation. Ideal for restoration or routine maintenance, the kit improves weather sealing, reduces vibration-related rattles, and simplifies trim replacement with pre-formed pieces that align to original mounting points.
Features:
- Direct-fit 4-piece left and right beltline molding kit for compatible vehicles (verify fitment before purchase).
- Durable, corrosion-resistant construction maintains exterior appearance and resists weathering.
- Replaces cracked, faded, or missing beltline trim to restore factory look and function.
- Helps prevent water intrusion and reduces wind noise and vibration along the door beltline.
- Easy to install with pre-formed pieces and standard mounting clip/fastener locations.
- Suited for restoration projects and routine trim replacement to maintain vehicle value.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Confirm fitment: compare new pieces to old moldings and identify left/right positions.
- Park on level ground and clean working area; roll windows up and protect surrounding paint with tape if needed.
- Carefully remove existing molding: use a plastic trim tool to pry at clip locations and remove fasteners; retain any reusable clips or replace with new ones.
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, wax, and old adhesive for proper seating.
- If clips are separate, install new clips onto the replacement molding following original clip spacing.
- Align the molding with the beltline and engage the leading edge into position, then press firmly along the length to seat clips into the body holes.
- If required, apply a thin bead of automotive adhesive or sealant at ends or joints to ensure a watertight seal (follow adhesive manufacturer cure times).
- Re-check clip engagement and alignment, wipe away excess adhesive, and allow recommended cure time before driving.
