This outer rear gate beltline molding is a direct replacement trim piece designed to secure and protect the edge of the rear gate while restoring a clean, factory appearance. Note: not compatible with Silverado or Sierra models.

Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface, open the rear gate, and support it if needed to prevent movement.
- Carefully remove the old molding: pry trim clips or remove fasteners using a trim tool or screwdriver. Keep any reusable clips if they are intact.
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or adhesive remover to remove old adhesive, grime, and corrosion. Allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new molding along the beltline to confirm alignment and clip/fastener locations before final installation.
- If clips are used, align the molding and press firmly until each clip snaps into place. If adhesive is required, apply an appropriate automotive-grade adhesive per the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions and press the molding into position.
- Reinstall any fasteners and use masking tape to hold the molding in place while adhesive cures, if applicable.
- Wipe away any excess adhesive, close and open the gate to check for proper alignment and clearance, and adjust as needed.
