Precision Beltline Molding for the inner right-hand rear door (WFR 1120 73) provides a factory-style fit that secures and protects the door’s beltline and window channel. Designed to align trim, prevent water intrusion and reduce wind noise, this corrosion-resistant molding restores the door’s appearance while improving long-term sealing and durability. Durable, reliable, and straightforward to install, it’s an ideal replacement for restoration or maintenance projects.
Features:
  • Right-hand (passenger side) inner rear door beltline molding — part WFR 1120 73
  • Made from corrosion-resistant, factory-style metal for long-lasting appearance
  • Secures and aligns door trim while protecting the window channel from debris and moisture
  • Helps reduce wind noise and vibration by restoring proper trim fitment
  • Designed as a direct replacement for restoration and maintenance applications
  • Easy to install with basic hand tools; restores factory look and function
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 30-45 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Trim removal tool or plastic pry tool
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Flat screwdriver
  • Ratchet and socket set (if door panel fasteners require)
  • Clean cloth and mild solvent
  • Masking tape
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on a level surface, roll window up, and disconnect the battery if working near electrical components.
  2. Remove the inner door panel or trim necessary to access the beltline area using a trim tool and screwdrivers — keep fasteners organized.
  3. Carefully peel back any weatherstrip or retainers to expose the mounting area for the molding.
  4. Clean the mounting surface with a mild solvent and a clean cloth to remove dirt, adhesive residue, and oils.
  5. If the old molding is present, remove it by gently prying or unscrewing fasteners; use masking tape on adjacent paint to protect the finish.
  6. Test-fit the new molding to ensure alignment, then seat it into position. Reinstall any clips or fasteners, ensuring a snug, even fit along the beltline.
  7. Reattach weatherstripping and the door panel, verify window operation and trim alignment, then perform a final visual and touch-up check for secure fit and sealing.
