This 10-piece door weatherstrip seal kit includes left and right glassruns, beltlines and door seals designed to replace worn or damaged door sealing components. The set restores proper glass alignment, prevents water intrusion, reduces wind noise and protects interior trim and paint during operation — an important update for restoration and maintenance projects. Verify application fitment for your specific year/make/model before installation. Built for long-term durability, the seals offer reliable performance and straightforward installation for most classic and older vehicles.
Features:
- Complete 10-piece kit includes left and right glassruns, beltlines and door seals for full door assembly replacement.
- High-quality EPDM rubber construction with reinforced channels for long-lasting weather and UV resistance.
- Guides and aligns door glass while sealing out water, wind noise and road debris.
- Direct-replacement profiles restore door operation and help preserve interior trim during restorations.
- Easy to install with common hand tools; trims and minor adjustments allow fitment to a range of door openings.
- Corrosion-resistant design and precision profiles improve longevity and reduce future maintenance.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 1–2 hours (both doors)
Instructions:
- Prepare workspace: park vehicle on level ground and lower windows. Work in a dry, well-lit area.
- Remove interior door panel and any trim or retaining clips to expose the door shell and old seals.
- Carefully lower the window (if needed) and remove the old glassruns, beltline seals and retainers. Note orientation and clip placement for reference.
- Clean the seal channel and surrounding surfaces thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or adhesive cleaner to remove dirt, old adhesive and debris. Allow to dry.
- Test-fit each new piece in place to verify orientation and fit. Trim excess material only if necessary for a proper fit.
- If adhesive is recommended, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the seal channel per adhesive instructions. Start at the top corner and work downward.
- Press the new glassrun/beltline firmly into the channel, engaging any clips or metal retainers. Use masking tape to hold seals in place while adhesive sets if needed.
- Reinstall the window, adjust glass alignment and travel so it moves smoothly within the new runs. Make any final adjustments to seating and clip engagement.
- Reinstall door panel, trim and hardware. Operate the window and door several times to ensure proper sealing and movement.
- Allow any adhesive to cure per manufacturer recommendations (typically 24 hours) before exposing the door to heavy moisture or pressure.
