Features:
- Fits 1967 vehicles that use DK-1113 door seals — verify make and model fitment before purchase.
- Complete 10-piece left and right kit replaces worn or damaged door weatherstrips.
- Made from high-quality synthetic rubber for flexibility, resilience, and weather resistance.
- Reduces wind noise, prevents water intrusion, and protects interior trim from moisture damage.
- Easy-to-install pieces restore door alignment and factory sealing performance for restoration projects.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Remove old weatherstrips: carefully pry out existing seals using a trim tool or flathead screwdriver, taking care not to damage the door flange or paint.
- Clean mounting surfaces: wipe the channel and flange with rubbing alcohol or adhesive cleaner to remove dirt, old adhesive, and contaminants; allow to dry completely.
- Test-fit new pieces: position each new weatherstrip (left and right) to confirm orientation and trimming points before applying adhesive.
- Apply adhesive (if required): follow the adhesive manufacturer's directions — apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the flange or the seal mounting surface.
- Install the seal: press the weatherstrip firmly into place along the door jamb or frame, ensuring the bulb and lip seat fully into the channel.
- Trim and secure ends: cut any excess material with scissors or a utility knife and use masking tape or spring clamps to hold the seal in position while the adhesive sets.
- Cure time and final check: allow adhesive to cure per instructions (typically 30 minutes to an hour for handling, longer for full strength), then close the door and check for even compression, proper closure, and absence of leaks or wind noise. Make minor adjustments as needed.
