Direct-fit left-hand door weatherstrip engineered for 1966–1977 Ford Bronco models to restore a weather-tight seal along the door edge. This durable, EPDM-style rubber seal prevents water intrusion, wind noise, dust, and vibration while helping maintain proper door alignment and latch engagement. Designed for restoration and replacement applications, it delivers long-lasting performance, reliable sealing, and straightforward installation to get your classic Bronco back to factory-fit condition.
Features:
- Fits 1966–1977 Ford Bronco — left hand door (driver side for LHD vehicles).
- Made from durable EPDM-style rubber for long-lasting weather resistance and flexibility.
- Seals against water, wind, dust and road noise to protect interiors and components.
- Restores proper door alignment and latch engagement for improved fit and function.
- Easy to install — designed for a direct-fit replacement in restoration projects.
- Resistant to UV, ozone, and temperature extremes to maintain reliability over time.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30–60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and open the door fully.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip: pry out retainers or peel away adhesive and remove any clips or screws holding the strip.
- Clean the mounting channel thoroughly with a cleaner/degreaser and a rag; remove old adhesive residue and allow the area to dry.
- Dry-fit the new weatherstrip along the door edge to verify orientation and length; trim excess with a utility knife if necessary.
- If the new seal uses adhesive, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel per adhesive manufacturer instructions.
- Press the weatherstrip firmly into place, ensuring all retainers or bulb sections seat fully in the channel; use masking tape to hold it in position while adhesive cures if needed.
- Reinstall any door hardware or trim removed earlier and check door operation — ensure the door latches smoothly and that the seal compresses evenly.
- Allow adhesive to cure per instructions (if used) before exposing the door to moisture or heavy use.
