Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and ensure the roof rail area is accessible and dry.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip: pry out retaining clips or pull the old seal from the channel using a trim tool or screwdriver. Retain any reusable clips if intact.
- Clean the mounting channel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth to remove old adhesive, dirt, and grease. Allow to dry fully.
- Test-fit the new seal along the right-hand roof rail to confirm orientation and length. Trim excess material if necessary using a utility knife.
- If recommended for your vehicle, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive into the channel or to the seal mounting area following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Starting at one end, press the new weatherstrip into the channel, ensuring the seal seats evenly and any sealing lips align with the roof flange. Use a firm hand or a rubber mallet wrapped in cloth for stubborn sections.
