Instructions:
- Remove the interior door panel and any trim necessary to access the window channel.
- Lower the glass to a position where the lockstrip can be accessed, and support the glass with tape if needed.
- Carefully remove the old lockstrip by pulling it out of the weatherseal channel; use pliers if necessary.
- Clean the channel and glass edge with rubbing alcohol to remove dirt and old adhesive.
- Position the new lockstrip along the edge of the glass and press it into the weatherseal channel, making sure it seats evenly along the full length.
- Tap gently with a rubber mallet or block of wood to fully seat the lockstrip if needed; avoid deforming the seal.
- Cycle the window up and down to verify smooth operation and correct alignment; adjust as required.
- Reinstall the door panel and any removed trim, then perform a final check for fit, noise, and water tightness.
