Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and work in a shaded area; wear safety glasses and gloves.
- Carefully remove interior trim panels and any vent or sash hardware to access the vent glass mounting area.
- Support the old vent glass from the outside or inside as required; remove any retainers, screws, or clips holding the glass in place.
- Remove the old glass and any remaining sealant or debris from the channel; clean mating surfaces with isopropyl alcohol and a clean rag.
- Dry-fit the replacement glass to confirm orientation (left-hand) and fit; identify any required shims or clips.
- Apply a light silicone lubricant or soapy water to the channel to aid sliding the new glass into position; use a suction cup or glass grip for safe handling.
- Carefully slide the new vent glass into the channel and align with mounting points; reinstall retainers, screws, or clips to factory torque.
- Reinstall sash components and interior trim panels; allow any adhesive to cure per manufacturer instructions if used.
- Check window alignment, operation, and seal by closing the vent and inspecting for gaps; test for wind noise and water tightness after a short road test.
