Precision Vent Glass, Tempered Right Hand (Green) DV06313 GTN is a right-side vent window replacement engineered to restore the appearance, seal and function of your vehicle's vent glass. Made from safety-tempered green-tinted glass, it resists impact and thermal stress while matching factory aesthetics. This vent glass helps prevent water intrusion, reduce wind noise and maintain cabin comfort. Designed for direct-replacement applications where the DV06313 GTN part number applies—verify fitment for your specific year, make and model—this unit offers dependable durability and straightforward installation for restoration or maintenance projects.
Features:
- Tempered green-tinted safety glass resists shattering and matches factory appearance.
- Right-hand (passenger side) vent window; part number DV06313 GTN for fit verification.
- Restores proper sealing to prevent leaks, wind noise and interior water damage.
- Factory-style thickness and edge finish for correct alignment and smooth operation.
- Ideal for restoration or replacement projects; durable and long-lasting.
- Straightforward swap-in design for vehicles that accept this part number.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 3/5
- Estimated time: 45–90 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface, disconnect the negative battery terminal if required for your vehicle, and roll the window up and down to verify operation before starting.
- Remove the interior door panel: pry off trim pieces, remove screws and clips, then carefully pull the panel away to expose the inner door cavity.
- Remove any water shields or vapor barriers as needed to access the vent window mounting area. Keep these materials for reinstallation if reusable.
- If applicable, remove vent window molding, retainers, and interior trim surrounding the vent glass. Use masking tape to protect painted surfaces.
- Support the door glass mechanism or move the main window out of the way per vehicle procedure so the vent glass can be accessed.
- Locate and remove the fasteners or rivets securing the vent glass frame or channel. Carefully withdraw the old vent glass assembly from the door.
- Thoroughly clean the glass channel and mating surfaces with rubbing alcohol; remove old adhesive, debris and corrosion to ensure a proper seal.
- Test-fit the new DV06313 GTN vent glass into the channel to confirm correct orientation and fit. Do not force—verify alignment with mounting holes.
- Install the new vent glass into the channel, securing with the original or supplied fasteners. Reinstall any rubber seals or weatherstrips; apply a small amount of silicone lubricant if needed to ease fitment.
- Reassemble molding, retainers and interior trim in reverse order. Replace any damaged clips or fasteners with new ones.
- Lower and raise the window to confirm smooth operation and inspect for proper seal and alignment. Check for water intrusion after a gentle spray or during the next rainfall.
- Reinstall door panel and any removed components, reconnect the battery if disconnected, and perform a final functionality and leak check.
