Instructions:
- Identify the damaged or missing clip and the panel or trim piece to be reattached.
- Carefully pry away the trim or panel edge using a trim removal tool or flathead screwdriver to expose the clip hole.
- If an old clip remains, remove it by prying up the center pin (if present) then pulling out the body, or by using needle-nose pliers to extract the entire clip.
- Align the panel or trim with its mounting hole so the clip body can enter straight.
- Insert the clip body into the hole and push firmly until the clip seats flush and you hear or feel a click.
- Re-seat the trim or panel onto the clip, ensuring even engagement and that the panel sits flush with surrounding surfaces.
- Check retention by gently pulling the panel to confirm the clip holds securely. Replace additional clips as needed for full restoration.
