This aftermarket rear gate glass run channel is engineered for 1980-1996 Ford Bronco models to guide and seal the rear window, preventing wind noise, rattles, water intrusion and glass wear. Constructed from durable EPDM rubber with a precision profile, it restores factory fit and function for smoother glass operation and long-lasting protection. Ideal for restoration projects or routine maintenance, the channel installs with basic tools and returns a clean, secure seal to the tailgate glass.

Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Lower or remove the rear gate glass per vehicle service guidelines to access the old channel (support glass securely).
- Carefully remove any trim or clips that obstruct access to the glass run channel.
- Pull out the old, worn channel from the edge of the glass and the gate channel. Use a trim tool or screwdriver to pry if necessary, taking care not to damage surrounding metal or glass.
- Clean the mounting channel and glass edge thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or a mild cleaner to remove dirt, old adhesive, and residue.
- Test-fit the new glass run channel on the glass and inside the gate track to confirm orientation and fit.
- Apply a light coat of silicone lubricant or soapy water to the new channel lip and the glass edge to ease installation.
- Slide the new channel onto the glass edge and press it into the gate channel, working along the length to ensure full seating. Use gentle heat if the rubber is stiff in cold conditions.
- Reinstall any trim or clips removed earlier and carefully raise the glass back into position, checking for smooth operation and proper alignment.
- Cycle the glass up and down several times to ensure the channel seats correctly and to check for any binding, noise, or gaps.
- Make final adjustments to alignment if needed and clean the area to remove any installation residue.
