This 2-piece door weatherstrip seal kit (left and right) provides a precise replacement for worn or damaged door seals, restoring a tight, factory-style fit. Engineered to seal the door perimeter against water, wind, and road noise, the kit helps maintain cabin comfort, prevents interior water damage, and reduces vibration. Made from durable EPDM rubber with a reinforced carrier, the seals are resistant to UV, ozone, and temperature extremes for long-lasting performance. Intended as a direct-replacement restoration or maintenance part, confirm vehicle fitment with the part number before installation.
Features:
- Left and right door seal kit — 2 pieces for full door sealing coverage
- Durable EPDM rubber construction resists UV, ozone, and temperature degradation
- Seals out water, wind, and road noise to protect interior and improve comfort
- Reinforced carrier for reliable retention and proper door alignment
- Direct-replacement design for restoration or routine maintenance; trim-to-fit if necessary
- Easy to install with basic tools; adhesion or clip-fit options depending on vehicle
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes per door
Instructions:
- Open the door and remove the old weatherstrip by gently prying it away from the flange and removing any retaining clips.
- Clean the mating surface thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or adhesive cleaner to remove dirt, old adhesive, and residue. Allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new seal by aligning it with the door edge and verifying length and orientation. Trim excess length if necessary, cutting straight across the end.
- If adhesive is required, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the door flange or to the seal’s contact surface following the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions.
- Starting at one end, press the seal firmly into place along the flange. Use masking tape to hold sections in position if needed while adhesive cures.
- Ensure corners and joints are seated tightly and that the seal does not interfere with door closing or latch operation. Adjust as needed.
- Allow adhesive to cure fully per instructions before driving (typically 1–24 hours). Recheck for gaps and trim/reattach clips if applicable.
