Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and wear safety gear.
- Remove interior trim and weatherstripping around the corner window to expose the mounting flange.
- Carefully cut and remove the old adhesive or sealant using a utility knife and scraper; remove the damaged glass if present using a suction cup lifter.
- Thoroughly clean the flange and surrounding area with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, old adhesive, and oils. Allow to dry.
- Apply adhesive primer to the flange and to the new glass edge if the adhesive manufacturer recommends it; follow primer instructions and flash time.
- Dry-fit the new corner glass to verify alignment and fit against the flange and trim.
- Load polyurethane adhesive into the caulking gun and apply a continuous, even bead to the mounting flange per adhesive manufacturer guidelines.
- With assistance, position the new glass into place using suction cups and press firmly to seat into the adhesive. Ensure proper alignment before adhesive sets.
- Secure the glass with masking tape or support blocks to maintain pressure and alignment while adhesive cures.
- Reinstall interior trim and weatherstripping after initial set, taking care not to disturb the seal.
- Allow full adhesive cure time (typically 24 hours) before driving or exposing to heavy weather; check for leaks and proper fit after cure.
