Reproduction of the original idler arm designed for use with 1988-91 Chevrolet and GMC truck models. This pivoting support for the steering linkage appears on older recirculating ball-type steering systems (pre-rack & pinion) and functions like the pitman arm in a rack and pinion system. This cast-iron steering idler arm features two holes for mounting to the frame, a rubber boot on the mounting section of the idler arm and features an eyelet or opening on the end that attaches to the center drag link. Includes an installation nut, cotter pin and grease fitting. One required per vehicle.
