The Precision Beltline Molding Kit, Chrome, Left and Right Hand, 4 Piece Kit WFK 2110 61 C is a complete chrome beltline trim set designed to restore the clean, finished edge where the body meets the glass. This four-piece kit provides left- and right-hand pieces that protect the beltline seam from moisture and road debris while delivering a factory-style polished appearance. Made from high-quality chrome-plated metal for long-lasting corrosion resistance, the kit is ideal for restoration projects and cosmetic upgrades — confirm vehicle-specific fitment before installation.
Features:
- Chrome-plated metal for a polished, factory-correct appearance and corrosion resistance
- Four pieces include left and right hand sections to cover the full beltline area
- Protects the body-to-glass seam from moisture, dirt, and vibration-induced wear
- Restores original trim lines for show-quality restorations and maintenance
- Designed for straightforward installation using existing retainers or commonly available fasteners
- Durable finish resists pitting and weathering to maintain appearance over time
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Verify part fitment for your specific vehicle year, make, and model before beginning.
- Carefully remove the old beltline molding: use a trim tool to disengage retainers and a screwdriver for any screws. Keep original clips if undamaged.
- Clean the mounting channel thoroughly with a cloth and solvent to remove old adhesive, dirt, and corrosion. Allow to dry completely.
- Test-fit each new molding piece to confirm orientation (left/right) and alignment along the beltline.
- If using original retainers, insert them into the new molding or into the vehicle channel as required. Replace any broken clips with new retainers.
- Align the molding with the beltline channel, then press or tap gently with a rubber mallet until the retainers engage. Secure with screws or fasteners if applicable.
- Check that all pieces meet flush at joints and that gaps are even. Trim or adjust as needed for a seamless fit.
- Wipe down the installed molding and polish the chrome finish. Recheck after a short drive and retighten any fasteners if necessary.
