Built for durability and reliable performance, it restores worn suspension geometry, reduces play and vibration, and helps prevent uneven tire wear. Engineered as a direct-fit replacement for straightforward installation and dependable long-term service.

  • Durable metal housing with a corrosion-resistant finish for long service life.
  • Precision-machined ball and stud to reduce play and restore steering responsiveness.
  • Sealed dust boot design to keep contaminants out and prolong joint life.
  • Helps eliminate vibration, clunking, and uneven tire wear associated with worn ball joints.
  • Ideal for suspension restoration, maintenance, and OEM-style repairs.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 3/5
  • Estimated time: 1–2 hours per side
Suggested Tools:
  • Floor jack and jack stands
  • Socket set and ratchet
  • Torque wrench
  • Ball joint press or pickle fork and press adapter
  • Pliers
  • Hammer
  • Breaker bar
  • Penetrating oil
  • Safety glasses and gloves
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on a level surface, engage parking brake, and block rear wheels.
  2. Loosen front wheel lug nuts slightly, then raise the front and support the vehicle securely on jack stands.
  3. Remove the front wheel to access the suspension components.
  4. Apply penetrating oil to the ball joint nut and mounting fasteners; allow to soak if corroded.
  5. Remove the cotter pin (if equipped) and loosen the castle nut on the ball joint stud; do not remove fully yet.
  6. Separate the ball joint stud from the steering knuckle using a ball joint separator or press; if using a hammer, be cautious to protect components.
  7. Remove any retaining bolts or snap rings securing the ball joint to the upper control arm.
  8. Use a ball joint press to remove the old ball joint from the control arm.
  9. Clean the control arm bore and inspect for damage or excessive wear; replace the control arm if necessary.
  10. Press the new ball joint into the control arm until fully seated, ensuring correct orientation for right/left hand application.
  11. Install and torque retaining bolts/nut to manufacturer specifications and secure with a new cotter pin if applicable.
  12. Reattach the steering knuckle to the ball joint stud and torque the castle nut to spec, inserting a new cotter pin if required.
  13. Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, and torque lug nuts to specification.
  14. Have wheel alignment checked and corrected by a professional after installation to ensure proper tire wear and handling.
