Outer left-hand tie rod end for 2016-2023 Dodge and Jeep models. This precision-engineered steering component secures the steering linkage to the wheel hub, translating steering input into wheel movement while maintaining alignment and minimizing play. Built for dependable performance, it restores steering accuracy, reduces vibration and uneven tire wear, and helps maintain vehicle safety. Durable construction and corrosion-resistant finishes ensure long service life and reliable operation in varied driving conditions. Designed as a direct-fit replacement for worn or damaged OEM tie rod ends, it simplifies suspension restoration and alignment procedures.

Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park on level ground, engage parking brake, and loosen wheel lug nuts slightly.
- Raise the vehicle with a jack and secure it on jack stands. Remove the wheel.
- Locate the outer left-hand tie rod end on the steering knuckle and mark the position of the old tie rod on the adjuster sleeve to preserve alignment reference.
- Remove the cotter pin and loosen the castle nut securing the tie rod end to the steering knuckle. Use a tie rod puller or pickle fork to separate the tie rod end from the knuckle.
- Loosen the jam nut on the inner tie rod and unthread the outer tie rod end from the adjuster sleeve the same number of turns as were present before removal (use your reference mark).
- Thread the new outer left-hand tie rod end onto the adjuster sleeve to the marked position. Tighten the jam nut to secure the adjustment.
- Seat the tie rod end stud into the steering knuckle, tighten the castle nut to the vehicle manufacturer’s specified torque, and install a new cotter pin if applicable.
- Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, and torque the lug nuts to specification.
- It is strongly recommended to have a front-end alignment performed by a professional after installation to ensure proper steering geometry and tire wear.
