Instructions:
- Remove the door panel and any interior trim to access the window channel and old weatherstrip.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip and any remaining adhesive or sealant using a razor blade and trim tool.
- Clean the channel and surrounding surfaces thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new weatherstrip in the groove to verify orientation and length; trim excess if necessary.
- If adhesive is recommended for your application, apply a thin, even bead to the channel per adhesive instructions.
- Press the weatherstrip firmly into the trim groove along the entire length, working from one end to the other.
- Re-seat the door glass into the new seal, cycling the window slowly to ensure smooth operation and proper alignment.
- Secure with clamps or allow adhesive to cure as directed, then reassemble door panel and trim.
