Instructions:
- Open the door and remove the old weatherstrip: gently pry out any retaining clips or pull the old seal from the channel.
- Inspect the door channel and latch area for rust, old adhesive and debris; clean thoroughly with solvent and dry.
- Test-fit the new seal (left or right as required) to confirm orientation and length; trim excess with a utility knife if necessary.
- If adhesive is used, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel per adhesive instructions; allow recommended tack time.
- Starting at the top hinge area, press the new weatherstrip into the channel and work your way around the door, ensuring the bulb seats fully and any retention lip engages.
- Reinstall any retaining clips or fasteners removed earlier; trim and tuck ends for a neat fit.
- Close the door and check for proper fit, gaps, and latch operation; make minor adjustments as needed. Allow adhesive to cure fully before exposing to moisture.
