Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and wear gloves to protect hands and finish.
- Carefully pry up the windshield molding using a trim tool or flat-blade screwdriver to expose the clip locations.
- Remove any old or damaged clips from the pinch weld or molding channel with pliers; clean mounting surfaces with a rag and alcohol if needed.
- Position each new clip onto the molding or around the pinch weld according to the original clip orientation—ensure the clip’s retention tang aligns with the mounting hole.
- Press each clip firmly until it fully seats and locks in place; you should feel or hear a click when seated.
- Re-seat the windshield molding over the newly installed clips, working along the edge and applying even pressure to engage each clip.
- Inspect the molding for even fitment and check for gaps; test for secure retention by gently tugging at the molding.
- Repeat as needed for any remaining clips and dispose of old clips responsibly.
